QuestionI recently purchased my booster. The device that boosts the signal is very hot, like I cannot keep my hands on it hot! Do others experience that, if not I'll return mine for an exchange.

- Answer This is normal and expected from cell phone boosters. It's best to keep the booster in a climate-controlled area with good ventilation to keep the unit cooler.

QuestionDoes this unit use a typical coaxial cable to connect to the roof antenna?

- Answer Yes, and the weBoost Home MultiRoom comes with (2) 15 ft. cables and (1) 30 ft. cable plus a Flat Window Cable for a drill free installation. No additional cable is needed unless you plan on having a greater distance between the antenna's and booster. Just remember, the longer the cable, the more loss that can happen so we recommend sticking with the original cables included for best performance.

QuestionIf I’m getting 1 to 2 bars outside my house, what should I expect with this booster inside the house?

- Answer If you are lucky a signal about twenty feet from the inside antenna. Maybe a twenty feet by twenty feet area right next to it inside. I used an upgraded cable and I still only received a single two bars inside unless I am five too ten feet from the inside antenna.

- Answer Hello! That would work, but the best way to imagine the inside antenna is like a speaker. If you put the speaker in the attic, it would work, but you would get reduced sound and quality, just like our unit but with cell service. - Answer Hello! Technically, yes you can. But we do not recommend it because splitters degrade the signal and reduce the coverage area, If you already have poor signal this just makes the situation worse.

- Answer We have Verizon and are on a ranch. Had 3 bars in our driveway and nothing inside the house. This can only boost what you already get but if you can walk somewhere on your property and get reasonable service, this booster can bring that connection into your home.

- Answer I would not think so as the directions call for 50 feet between the antennas for optimal signal. I managed 40 feet of separation with the 60 feet of coax included with the unit. But it still worked ok.
