I spend time in rural/mountainous western NC. Cable company refuses to extend service to us. The only company with any kind of cell signal is Verizon. I was getting 1 bar (sometimes 3G, sometimes 4G). Text was OK, voice was lousy and required you to stand outside on a corner of a porch, and data/email with attachments/video/web browsing required a trip downtown. Installed the antenna outside on the porch, put the inside antenna in the kitchen, and I get 2 or 3 bar 4G LTE signal inside and outside. The elimination of daily frustration is worth the high cost of the unit. It boosts a weak/marginal cell signal to acceptable levels.
