Have the same questions. Bought in December with new computer, but not installed because I still had another (Avast) subscription in place. However, Webroot starts to expire at date of purchase, not date of installation. Also, it doesn't say exactly what it's protection is......read all info on package and still don't know what it does. Good luck getting answers.

Please try again later.I thought the subscription started when I installed it too, but I was informed wrong, it starts on the day you buy it, so I lost about 3 weeks because my old one wasn't expired yet, to make it worse my old 2 year subscription came with a CD and this one has an empty box with a code to install it and I'm still having trouble installing it, windows defender is still operating my security while this one won't install properly, so I would like my money back if possible. Bad idea to start a subscription before you install it and they need to include the CD!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.When you install the webroot it expires on the date that it tells you . It will let you know how many days you have left for coverage. Each time you install the covarage goes back to the original install date of first laptop that you installed it on.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You get a full year from the time you install and register the product. And it should be exactly the same product. Subscription starts when you register the product, which you must do in order to be covered by the protection.

I don't trust websites that are vague in their descriptions, it could just be a 3 month trial or 6 month trial since a year is not stated . Just my opinion.
