• rogt, There is no need to uninstall McAfee after installing Webroot, however Webroot is much faster than McAfee and uninstalling McAfee may actually speed up your computer. All updates that Webroot does are automatic so you will receive any updates that become available during the period of your license. I hope this helps!

• yes,,you need to uninstall any other virus protection before installing. Go to programs,,find and click on Mcaffe..click uninstall. Dont just delete it.
