I'm not sure what the BestBuy service plan covers but a Webroot subscription does not protect against credit card/identity theft specifically. We simply protect you from malware which can indeed steal your credit card and password info. Certain Webroot subscriptions also include a subscription to "lastpass" which is a password creation/management software.
