You can use a product called Lutron Caseta Wireless Smart Switch. Buy the package that comes with the switch, hub and pico (remote control). Just replace the switch, it uses less wires than the wemo which is a plus. Plug the hub into your router and link the pico remote to the switch. Done!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.install a wemo switch then use the app on your phone to be the remote control. no reason to have another physical remote switch on the wall. If you have a smart speaker, you can tell it by voice to shut off the light too.

That will do what you want, except that smart lights require the original power switch(the one by your door) to be left on and then the phillips controllers work.
