Belkin used to sell a low voltage WeMo switch. I own one. But I don’t see it on their web site anymore. I actually purchased mine to put in series with my thermostat for my workshop. Before I got around to installing it, I purchased a WiFi thermostat, so I can just control the thermostat directly and with total functionality rather than just on and off. If you wanted to use a WeMo for energizing an low voltage circuit, you could build a relay circuit that would close when power was turned on and open when power was turned off. Or there may be other off the shelf solutions. Personally, I love my Honeywell WiFi thermostat so far.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. This device is a 120v pass-through switch. To satisfy your need, you are looking for the WEMO Maker. The relay output contacts will give you this functionality. Find my review of that item for more info on hookup and control.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Insight switch controls a U.S. standard 110VAC three-prong outlet. I believe there's another device in the WeMo line that may do what you want. Check the Belkin website.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes it will work
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi. We're a bit unsure of your setup. As long as the device does not exceed the maximum power rating of the Wemo Insight Switch, it should work. If you wish to discuss more about your setup, you can email us at [email protected] so that we can provide further information.
