• I suppose ... But the kids could just unplug it ... It’s bad to shut off power to Xbox / PS4 / computer , without powering down , shutting off properly ...DON’T be that parent , ... Get a Router with Parental controls ...Linksys / Netgear

• I would not suggest it since it cuts all power to the device. Video game systems are like computers, you can cause damage if you do not power them down correctly.
