• NO, it is not designed for that function. It's simply a wifi switch that turns things on and off.

• Can you revise the question? This product works off an app, IOS or Android. It is meant to connect to your WiFi settings during the setup. If you have an iPad, Apple TV, or Apple HomePod that stays at home on the WiFi, then you can control these from anywhere in the US. You ask Siri or handle the task in the home app.

• Not sure what you mean by signal but a telephone company provides signal this just provides on/off functionality of an outlet remotely.
