I have a total of 5 & had no problem with my App detecting them. Just follow the instructions that come with your plug.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well i had that problem for my second outlet and I think it's a load and sync thing. Ya probly can try unplugging, replugging, power on and then sync search your device. If it doesn't work then delete and repeat the process! (Good luck) Lizzy2-

I brought the device into the room where the router was and plugged it in right next to the router, went through the setup again (sometimes more than once. Once setup I moved it to the other end of the house. I have 3 about 40 feet from router for several years and have been working fine
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you updated the WeMo mini smartplug to the latest firmware (released last week) you may have corrupted the unit. I applied the update to my two mini smartplugs and they both no longer reliably connected to my Wi-Fi network. Belkin is replacing both units. I suggest you contact Belkin WeMo tech support; they will walk you through a bunch of troubleshooting steps. If it still fails they should replace it.
