QuestionI use a Google Mesh network. It uses both 2.4 and 5.0. It does this automatically. I know the We-Mo - Nini uses only the 2.4. Will it connect to the Google Mesh Network?

- Answer When setting up the plug it should give you will need to log in to your network and it should give you the choice to select the band.

- Answer In theory, yes, but these plugs are bad and WeMo is not doing the job of supporting their devices. Just get a different smart outlet and you'll be fine.

- Answer The promo price only worked when you had 2 in your cart. I had purchased one at $16, the got the 2 for $20 later and returned the $16 purchase. Worked for me.

- Answer I don't believe you can use a surge protector strip on it for it does not have the 3 pronged plug holes. Just has the 2.

- Answer Hi there. It requires an Android smartphone or tablet running Android 4.4 or higher. For Apple device (iPhone or iPad), it requires running iOS 9 or higher. NOTE: iOS 11.3 or higher is required if using the Wemo Mini with the Apple Home app and the latest Wemo App version.
