• Nope, it does not work on 5ghz network! Only 2.4 ghz!

• No, D. The Wemo devices only connects to 2.4GHz network.

• I believe they say it should be joined to 2.5 so that’s what I did and not sure if it would work

• The Wemo WiFi Plug can be accessed from a 5G capable cell phone, but it does not currently connect directly to 5G. It only connects to the internet through your home router.

• No You must connect it to your home WiFi network then you can use your data to toggle the switch
