Is this backpack water proof? null

Water-resistant, To me personally Waterproof, would mean i can drop it in a lake and stuff stay dry. But in a rainstorm you are fine

The label says it is. I know it holds against rain( heavy and light) really well no leaks or the such. I still lean towards water resistant over water proof.

I don't know about waterproof, but it put up with the fall rain in the Pacific Northwest. Not a pounding rain, but a constant drizzle. Everything inside stayed nice and dry.
