Q: QuestionIs the screen as fragile as the manufacturer states, that it can crack so easily just by squeezing the sides while unpacking? ? Compared to most other flat screen TVs, is it that eggshell sensitive?

• A:Answer I own this 24" Westinghouse and two 40" Westinghouse TVs, and a 43"? Phillips, and none of them has an overly delicate screen. I think the manufacturer just gives that instruction to not pinch the screen, because the screen is the one part of a modern TV that is cost-prohibitive to replace. Westinghouse doesn't seem any different from other LED TVS that I evaluated before purchase. But break your screen, and your TV is now junk because screens cost a lot.

• A:Answer The channels you would be able to receive would be dependent on the source it is connected to (antenna, cable box, satellite, etc.), not the television itself. So long as this is hooked up to the same source that you currently use, you should be able to have access to the same channels.

• A:Answer From the perspective of being able to use other streams (beside Netflix, Vudu, and Hulu), probably the answer is yes. I use a Firestick on a "dumb" 24" Insignia from BestBuy, an it works well for Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, etc. My Vizio smart tv has a couple dozen apps, but doesn't have any for Sling, etc. -so I'm disappointed with it from that perspective. OTOH, you can always add a Roku or Fire to one of the HDMI ports of this or other smart TV and get the same result as a dumb tv with the added device. So, if you don't pay extra for the smart features, then it's not a bad choice as you may not need an added device if the tv happens to have apps that you like.
