“I turned on this tv and tried to put my dvd in the slot on the right side of the tv and it doesn't want to take it and no there is no other dvd's in there? I thought all I had to do was turn tv on and put dvd in and watch, did I miss a step.”

• On the remote look for the source button, it is between the volume and channel buttons on mine. Press it and pick dvd. Now the slot will accept your dvd.

• you have to "switch inputs" to dvd

• Place the dvd in the slot with the shiny side facing front and the words/picture on dvd facing backwards
