“I just got an antenna for my TV and its only picking up one channel from the small university tower. There are other towers 20 miles away that should be picked up but aren't. Is this just my TV not working (bad internal tuner) or something else?”

I would recommend moving antenna around room, like near the window. Also if you live in a complex, look into getting and outdoor antenna.
