Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It will play traditional DVD's but not Blue Ray. It will fit on any table, tv stand, or even a coffee table as long as it is at least 40" wide. Just a little wider than that would be ideal. The DVD is inserted into the side of the tv. You must have the tv turned on and with the remote you push the "Source" button which will give you a list of options to choose from there. Using the down arrows scroll down to DVD and then push ok or enter. DVD will fill your tv in blue screen. You may now insert the DVD and enjoy.
