How do I get netflix to work with my surround sound ? null

You need an optical audio cable. You can buy it at bestbuy or ebay.

Best method would be to output from the TV's optical audio to your surround receiver. If your receiver doesn't have HDMI input or optical input, then you CAN'T because your receiver is outdated.

Turn off surround sound off in settings then use either the stock speakers or a sound bar sub combo. The surround sound in settings is a problem I don't use them.
