“Is this stand sturdy? It seems kinda thin, I worry it may fall over with my 65” Sony on it. Also, is it easy to mount a TV to it? Or difficult?”

Yes, it is sturdy. Hung a 65" Samsung on mine. Stayed there even thru a 7.9 earthquake.
