• The TV stand could probably support the 85 inch TV but it is recomended that he largest size to use is 65 inch

• Yes. If the base fits without issue, a 110 lbs 85" television should be fine on the top shelf as it supports a maximum load of 135 lbs. The television will overhang on each side of the stand, but its weight will not be an issue. Sidenote: The top shelf has a stopper which the base of the television must be placed behind. So, fitting without issue on the top shelf means that the base meets that requirement.

• Hi Wynn. This unit fits up to most 65" Flat Panel TVs with a maximum weight of 135 lbs.; we do not recommend using it with larger/heavier than specified size and weight.
