“Will it hold a 65 inch TV that is on a stand? Or does the 65 inch limit only apply to mounted TVs? My TV is a 65 inch but the leg stands are on the bottom ends of the TV instead of the center.”

Yes, as long as the distance from one leg to the other, is no more than 53 inches wide.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ours is like this, but when you're mounting the tv, the feet are no longer necessary. The mounting unit attaches to the back of the tv, and the stand comes with directions and appliances needed to install.

However the outer edges are wood while the rest is tempered glass, each about 2.5" So if you want to keep the leg stands away from the edges and on the glass, then the maximum width of the leg stands should not exceed 48.5" I have a 65" TV with leg stands that are too wide (about 50.25").
