QuestionI installed this microwave under the countertop on my island counter but when I use it for the first time gets really hot and it just shut down. Is this type of microwave be installed under the countertop? See attached picture.

QuestionWhen installing microwave does it require you add a venting system if there is none already there. Or will it just recirculate out of the top of the mocrowave?

- Answer Kjk, this does not have to be vented out. It can be installed to recirculate.

QuestionHas anyone had problems with the lights getting very hot? The light in the microwave, and under the microwaves get very hot to the touch in a very short period on time. I have always liked to leave the "hood" light on overnight, but I am afraid to now!

- Answer Yes, the unit comes set for recirculation (venting into room) you only need to reconfigure the vent openings on top of the oven for venting through the wall or ceiling to the outside of the building.

QuestionI have no ability to vent this, except up to the soffit above the range and back into the room, However that is problematic because a ceiling fan is directly in front of the vent. Is there a heat activated auto fan that starts from range top heat?
