QuestionWe have a model WMC30516HZ that is 16 months old. Recently the "3" quit working on the keypad and about two weeks later, the start button quit working. I waited a day to see if it would reset and it ran again. It's dead again now for good.

QuestionI have Model MH1150XMS1 which currently works with a trim kit with an opening of 22 3/4 w x 13h. Will model WMC30516HZ work in this same space?

- Answer I don't believe it will. I measured the actual opening of my trim kit It is 22/3/4 by 12. That is edge to edgeof the opening and you need a little wiggle space to get microwave in and out. I suggest you call Whirlpool and they will tell you if it will work. That is what I did. Hope this helps!

QuestionI bought this and am having issues since with in 1 year warranty with electronic panel not displaying correctly and also freezing buttons. I have tried my best to unplug and restore settings but it doesn't do any good anymore? HELP ME!!!

QuestionWhile I don't want to make this microwave into a built-in model, it would slot into an enclosed niche with an opening of 23" x 13" and a depth of 23". Will it be okay to place it in that niche? Does it need more space around it?

- Answer I just measured the exterior dimensions including the feet on the bottom and it seems it will fit. With the feet it is exactly 13 inches high so it will be tight. The depth is another issue. Mine measures 21 inches from the socket plate to the front of the microwave, so it will fit. I have mine in an over-the-counter slot, where a previous microwave was. I cannot advise on this in general but it sounds like it will be fine with respect to the amount of space for proper functioning but you can google that. The thing I am having an issue with is that there was a rack in the slot already to hold the microwave and it fit my old one perfectly. This new microwave does not sit flat and so is tilted, which over time will ruin the door. So either the configuration of the bottom or something is different (the bottom is set higher than the feet so you will not have a problem with this, regarding space). I have not solved that one yet. Bottom line, it looks like it will fit.

QuestionIs this countertop microwaves acceptable to be used for a built in? I see that you all sell trim kits for them so I'm assuming they are. Mine is 2.5 years old and the electronics just fried last night which is mounted in a cabinet by the builder.
