“If I put this into a nook in my island with an opening of 25 1/2" wide, 14" tall, 19" deep, will there be enough ventilation without a trim kit? The manual only says to allow a few inches of space at the back and side where the exhaust vents are located.”

• You didn’t give us the dimension of the microwave! If you can put this microwave in the nook and able to slide your hand around, than yes, you have enough ventilation.
