Q: QuestionCan you use an over the range microwave as a built-in microwave (on top of a cabinet) if you do not use the vent?

• A:Answer This microwave is large and designed with several wall attach points, at the bottom rear for resting on, and at the top for attachment to the bottom of a wall cabinet. The exhaust can be in the room, or by altering the air flow of the fans at the top - for exhausting outside, with proper installation of duck work. I am not clear on the question, relative to it being built on top of a cabinet. Good luck !!

Q: QuestionHello, I am replacing my old Kenmore Elite Conv/Micro appliance. The night light was programmable, you could set it to come on when ever and then shut off when you wanted. Does this model have the same programmable light function? Thank you!!!

• A:Answer I’m not sure how your old microwave light worked but here is what the use guide says on the model you are questioning “Light Timer - Set the cooktop light to turn on and off at certain times. Touch CLOCK/OPTIONS to reach the Light Timer submenu, and follow the prompts to set the light on time and light off time in hours and minutes or to cancel Light Timer. NOTE: Light Timer uses 12-hour clock only” so it appears it would work the same.

Q: QuestionI had a Whirlpool gold. We loved it. I like this one, but need to know if it has the express cook buttons. My old one has 1-5 minutes, just touched number to start. also add 30 sec. We used this all the time and want this on out new microwave.

Q: QuestionWhen cooking on my stovetop anything that boils, the steam rising from the water covers the front glass of microwave dripping with water. The fan is turned on but does not draw the steam up. What can correct this issue? Can this damage the controls?
