- Answer Press the "Options/Clock" button just to the right of the time. (it is just left of the number "6" on the numeric keypad) You then simply punch in the time. You can also press "Select" immediately to the lower right of the time to choose how your time will display: 12 Hour with AM/PM, 12 Hour without AP/PM, or 24 hour clock.

- Answer Countryman, to keep the microwave oven from overheating, the auto vent fan will automatically turn on at high speed if the temperature from the range or cooktop below the microwave oven gets too hot. When this occurs, the vent fan cannot be turned off.

QuestionI just got this microwave and am curious if there is a way to disable the Standby mode feature that starts automatically after 5 minutes of idle time? I would like to be able to not dim the LCD (clock) panel that standby mode does to the light. Thanks

- Answer There is a metal rack that should be removed (no screws, just lifts out) when it is being used as a Microwave. I use mine as a Microwave MUCH more often than a Convection oven, so I only put the rack in when I need it. Hope this helps!
