Does this microwave have to be vented outside? I have a whirlpool microwave now that was built in 1984 and finally stopped working but is vented from the top front of the unit and we don't want to have to put a vent in? Will this new one work? null

yes as long as you have a vent over the cabinet to connect it, and at your convenience store you can buy the hardware to install it.

I was told that this microwave didn't have to be vented outside...I'm like you I dont have a vent outside for my old microwave and thats why i purchased this one.

It does not. It's actually set up already to vent "inside".
