Q: QuestionWe are replacing a an over the range microwave that has a grilled ventilation system back out to the kitchen. I do not see a grill on this model. Will it ventilate steam from the range and where does it go?

• A:Answer It has a washable/replaceable screen on the bottom that draws in steam and grease from the range. It discharges the filtered air strait up from a vent behind the door.

My vent hole is in the cabinet that is ceiling high and a hole thru the top of the cabinet , thru the studs and out side vent.
