“how is it vented? is it vented outside? I do not have range hood. My current microwave is Maytag, model, MMV1164WWW, I think it has vent in front above the unit. i don't have any vents in the kitchen.”

Praful, this microwave can be vented outside. It is set up for recirculating venting.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The default set up is a self contained vent, no outside vent needed, although it has the option to vent outside by flipping a part over inside the unit. But just install it as a self contained vent. It works fine.
