• You can use a metal pan on convection only but I would recommend using approved pans. See their manual on the website or here: http://www.whirlpool.com/manuals/

• You can use metal bakeware with the convection feature, it has a metal rack you place in the microwave on the turntable, you set the cook pan on this so the hot air flows all around and under what is being cooked.
