• My microwave stands out from the cabinets just as far that it can vent properly. I do not have an open area above the microwave since the cabinet sits just on top of it.

• I believe the instruction measurements are incorrect on the back bar ....reads 15 3/4" and should be 15 1/4," had to move mine up a half inch

• It has a fan and vent on the top which can be directed to a household vent you may have.

• No,it is fastened to the bottom of the cabinet

• This has a built in vent that blows from the top.
