- Answer It constantly melts and drains old ice and makes new ice. The model I purchased needed an external pump to drain/remove the water from melted ice.

- Answer They are, but Best Buy is Terrible when it comes to Customer Service and scheduling for installation. I was on the phone 4 times because of phantom cancelations for installation and haul away. When your time is valuable, Best Buy doesn't care. They canceled an appointment for an installation and Haul Away without notifying me the canceled the appointment. Just Terrible.

- Answer It depends on the “hardness” of the water in your home. Basically, the higher the calcium content, the more often you will need to clean it. The “clean” light is only based on a preset time from the factory. It may be way too soon or not soon enough
