QuestionJust purchased this model. Compressor has noticeable high pitched whine when running. Is this normal? Customer service said it was but I find it hard to believe they would make it that way.

- Answer You can hear the compressor running when cooling. I wouldn't call it a whine or high-pitched, but there is a noticeable rumbling. I've had it 3 weeks and don't notice the motor any more than I did my previous unit..
