• Yes. It's a cheap, built-in-Mexico unit and certainly runs louder than the old one it replaced. You get used to it after a while, but there's no doubt it runs louder than the older, better whirlpools

• Just bought this model it s horrible the buzzing sound from the compressor is crazy. It’s going back soooooo frustrating since we had the same model 13 years old with no noise and my neighbors have the same bought last year with no buzzing. The quality is goingggg down the toilet

• Yes, its sooo loud. Louder than any fridge I've ever had. I can here it from upstairs. I had a tech come out and he said it is running fine. It's getting exchanged.
