• A:Answer It is for cans of beer or pop. It was driving me crazy for two days. I never would have figured it out until someone told and now it makes perfect sense. You can fit 6, 12oz cans on their side and they are very secure and out of the way. Really nice feature. Whirlpool should tell you in the instructions what its for.

Q: QuestionStyle 2 - The on/off switch is located on the bottom of the ice maker - nothing to be found either. I believe I have style one but no shut off arm anywhere??

• A:Answer THE BEST BUY ANSWER IS THE CORRECT ONE. THE MANUAL IS USELESS. THE INSTALLATION GUIDE IS USELESS. THE STICKER ON THE FRONT OF THE ICE MAKER SAYS FOR STYLE 2 (WHICH IS WHAT IS PICTURED IN THE OTHER ANSWER BY BEST BUY) THE SWITCH IS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ICE MAKER. NO IT ISN'T. IT IS ABOUT 2" IN FROM THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ICE MAKER AND IS A SIMPLE ROCKER SWITCH. YOU NEEDN'T REMOVE THE ICEMAKER TO GET AT IT, JUST FIND SOMEONE WITH A SMALL ENOUGH HAND TO REACH THROUGH THE DOOR, FEEL AROUND ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ICEMAKER 2" FROM LEFT AND 1" FROM THE FRONT AND YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIND THE ROCKER SWITCH. IF THE ICEMAKER IS BUZZING BECAUSE YOU HAVEN'T CONNECTED THE WATER YET, SWITCHING THE ROCKER SWITCH SO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROCKER SWITCH IS DEPRESSED SHOULD TURN IT OFF. REMEMBER HOW TO TURN IT BACK ON WHEN YOUR WATER FLOW IS ESTABLISHED.

• A:Answer The actual depth of this fridge is 30 and 1/2 inches from back to face of stainless steel door. The doors are wrapped to about a 2 inch depth on the sides, so you could get away with about a 28 1/2 depth if you needed to (plus water line hardware/tubing if so equipped). The handles add about an 1 1/2" out front in the middle. I moved it several times while installing the water line for the ice maker/ water dispenser, piece of cake - rolls easily. Nice fridge, works perfectly. Ice maker cranks out plenty of ice (although it is winter currently) and the filtered water tastes fine (a calibrated test revealed TDS of just under 350, which is the general standard for US water supply - my well water is commonly over 500 pre-filter). On the smaller side, fine for family of 3 or maybe 4 but a larger family likely would need more storage space. Happy with it, would buy this unit again.

Q: QuestionDoes anyone have issue with not enough cold water coming out? It was delivered last Thursday. The ice came out OK,but about a SMALL glass of water coming out that's cold, rest is room temp. Bestbuy tech came today and said it's this model, is it true?

• A:Answer I also didn't think the water was very cold, and I expected it to be chilled. It hasn't bothered me because I am always adding a half glass of ice! I don't know why the water wouldn't be just as cold as the regular glass of water I used to keep in the refrigerator. That should be a manufacturing flaw!

• A:Answer Hi tcor, the unit is not delivered with the doors off, but they can be easily removed for installation. If you remove the doors, the depth of the cabinet will be 28 inches. We hope this helps!

• A:Answer Hello OMbuyer! Per the Use and Care Guide you will need to reset the filter light. Resetting the Filter Status: After changing the filter, reset the filter status light by pressing and hold LIGHT and ICE TYPE button for 3 seconds. The status light will turn off when the system is reset.
