The primary being usage, family size and environment. With that in mind, it's difficult to calculate how long an appliance will last. Obviously, one that is used more frequently with bigger families will most likely exceed its useful life before one being used less regularly by a smaller family. QuestionI have a depth question. The specs say the depth without door is 27.5" but depth without handle is 32.38. That would make the door depth almost 5 inches. I have been researching refrigerators and the average depth of a door is 2" Can you confirm?

- Answer Hi Jack, the door with seal measures 3 3/8". From the back to the front of the door is about 31", but the unit is a couple inches from the wall. Hope this helps.

QuestionIs 2015 model better than 2014 (which seems to have more complaints)Hello! Most complaints seem to be in 2014 reviews. Do any of the 2015 owners have issues with their refrigerator/water filter/ice maker so far? I'm hoping the manufacturer corrected the issues. My choices are limited due to a narrow 33.5" width space, but hesitant to pull the trigger and buy this unit. Thanks.
