“Whirlpool counter depth side by side delivered yesterday. Looks great, but much more of a "hum" than my previous LG and Samsung. Freezer is currently pretty empty. Is this a constant sound? Fan? I hear it shut off when I open door.”

• HI 2619. Your new refrigerator will probably make different sounds or noises than your previous refrigerator. A humming noise may come from the compressor or fans as they adjust to optimize performance. On some models, the fans will temporarily turn off when the doors are opened and will resume once the doors are closed. This is part of normal operation.
