“Where is the air vent inside this dishwasher to allow excess steam to escape during drying? Every cycle with heat dry & extended heat dry (and rinse aide) leaves excessive dripping condensation on the 3 walls and the door. Not impressed at all!”

I had a repairman out for the same problem. I was concerned about mold and smells in the long run. The water remaining has gotten better over time (6 months now). No smells or mold have developed.

Please try again later.Hello countrygirl, the WDT750SAHZ does not feature any kind of external air vent, rather as the unit cools the moisture forms drops of water on the stainless steel tub and with Rinse Aid, drains out. You may just need to increase the amount of Rinse Aid dispensed. Your Use & Care Guide will show you how to adjust this setting please see page 7. Also it is very critical each cycle starts with water at 120deg. We suggest turning one the water faucet nearest the Dishwasher to full hot and wait until that water is at the max temperature before starting a cycle.
