Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe you mean 'sound decibels' and not 'sound decimals'. Sound decibels indicates how much noise a source produces. The lower the decibel rating, the quieter the appliance. Higher quality models now have decibel ratings of 50 decibels and below. They are whisper quiet. I sold a dishwasher with a decibel rating of 50 decibels to an older lady and she returned it because she complained it was so quiet she kept opening the door to see if it was running. I replaced my older model dishwasher with a 42 decibel machine and now I can watch TV without the sound of waves crashing on the shore coming from my old dishwasher. Ask your Best Buy appliance specialist for more detail.
