Hello Pleasedcustomer, the Tall Tub design gives more capacity to the Dishwasher tub by compressing the mechanical parts and assemblies at the bottom of the unit. You will know a Tall Tub design because the door will continue the length of the cabinet with out an extra panel at the bottom to cover the larger pump and motor. The dimensions will be the same to fit standard height countertops.
