QuestionIs it possible to select cycle mode etc. (using top control panel) before closing door? The Hight might be just under the kitchen counter and if I close the door, I might not to reach that panel.

- Answer Yes, you can select the cycle, etc with the door open, and once you press the "start" button you have 4 seconds (you'll see a timer that counts down) to close the door.

- Answer Hi grandma, this unit does heat water as well, although there are some installation requirements for the unit to be hooked up to a hot water supply of 120 degrees. We hope this helps!

- Answer Hi Sears. This Dishwasher does have a filter, but it does not need to be replaced regularly. It is removeable to be cleaned.
