• YES - The Whirlpool runs loud. It runs significantly louder than as well as runs more often than my previously owned refrigerator of 11 years, which made a quiet hum.

• I don't think the refrigerator runs loud!! If it's a different sound than you're use to, you'll get use to it. I did!!! It does seem to run a lot..
