If you buy a $60 fridge filter every time whirlpool tells you, you’ll be like the oil changing shop telling you to come back in 3000 miles. Insane. (And yet you never change the $6 fuel filter that does need it)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just use filtered water and a soft towel to clean the outside. Frankly, it hardly ever shows any dirt. Very easy to keep clean. I’d use the recommended filter. On previous fridges, I tried the off brands and got a hard water clog.
