“How do I know if ice maker is working, and know that water is flowing into unit to make ice?”

When the fridge is installed they hook up all of that. To make sure it works they test it before they leave.

Hello Bob. Please allow 24 hours for ice to be produced. If you need further assistance, please call Whirlpool at 800-253-1301. We are available Monday & Tuesday 8 AM - 8 PM and Wednesday through Friday 9 AM - 7 PM. They will be better able to assist you.
