No this refrigerator does not dispense a measured amount of water. You manually hold a glass in place and pressing the handle found behind your glass. It will begin to fill. It will stop when you stop pressing behind your glass. Pull your glass out completely and measure 4 ounces by using a measuring glass. Or use the measuring glass to stop it when you have reached 4 ounces.
