• All HE washers must use a detergent that states it is safe for HE machines, which is just about every brand of detergent these days.

• High Efficiency (HE) washers work best with detergent labeled for use in those machines. Just look for the HE label; fortunately most detergents are designed to be used in HE machines. The key thing is to pour the detergent in the machine before inserting the clothing. Just read the instructions under the machine lid.
