A:AnswerI've paused my washer during different cycles and my clothes have always been covered with water. There is a cycle to use for bulky items and deep water. It should save on your water bill compared to the older washing machines. All of our clothes have come out very clean.
A:Answermy laundry room is in the living room and close by the TV. I don't think its loud at all, sometimes I forget its running until I hear a click like its locking or unlocking. Its quieter then previous washers that I have had.

A:AnswerYou may be hearing the level sensor. It makes a noise after initially putting water in, while it senses the level of the load. It turns on, off, on, off a number of times. Then if it needs more water, it puts more in.
A:AnswerMy washer is 6 months old and can barely handle just basic washing of clothes. Can't use it for jackets, pillows, big fluffy bath towels, comforters. Be prepared to do more loads for the same amount of dirty laundry. Does not save water.
A:AnswerThe Whirlpool - 3.5 Cu. Ft. 9-Cycle High-Efficiency Top-Loading Washer needs 17" clearance between it and a cabinet for the door to open properly. You would need a space with a total height of 59" from the floor to the cabinet to install this correctly.
A:AnswerHello mystified. You may use powdered bleach in the Whirlpool washer. If using Oxi-type boosters, color-safe bleach, or fabric softener crystals, add to the bottom of the washer basket before adding clothes. You will not be able to use powdered bleach in the bleach dispenser.
Hopefully this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Whirlpool appliances!

A:AnswerI have not washed a king comforter in my washer. In fact that's why I have a new one . I would not recommend any washer for that unless commercial size. My personal opinion.

A:Answerfrustrated, I am sorry that you are having issues with your washer. The water may or may not stay in the washer depending on the cycle chosen, or where it is in the cycle. The washer may start over depending on where it is, as it will start to re-sense there the water level is after opening.
