- Answer on occasion when the washer is over-loaded or the load has shifted, the machine may occasionally vibrate enough to cause some minimal movement. suggest you rearrange the laundry or perhaps make the wash load lighter.

- Answer Hold down the green start button for ~3 seconds to unlock the lid during the rinse and spin modes--the only time that the lid is locked.

QuestionCan I still use the "normal" cycle for most items like with my current washer?I don't have many delicate clothes so I usually just set it on the normal/regular cycle and whatever number of minutes I want for the wash time. On this new washer can I do the same thing, mostly use the normal setting and increase the soil level for extremely dirty loads, or because of the low water level do I need to use a different setting for thick items like towels, jeans, and sweatshirts? Most of my jeans aren't necessarily dirty and that's what it says to use "deep water wash" for, so I'm a little confused.

- Answer This washer can run on normal cycle or switch to one of the others offered. You cannot select how many minutes for cycle but can select soil level like ex light light med or heavy plus water temp selection

QuestionI was told , by customer service that there is a site where I can hear how the washer is suppose to sound, compared to the old onesthe whirlpool washer is 2 days old, delivered on 9/28/15. I used it today 1st time & the sound on wash cycle, sounded strange, compared to the quick agitation of the old whirlpool. as washer is new the hose connection was leaking so I had to call cust. service. any way when registering my machine by phone, I was told there is a site at www.bestbuy.com & she said I should be able to hear how the washer is suppose to sound.. so my question is there I couldn't find it

- Answer You need to upgrade your electrical supply or unplug stuff that is on the same circuit. This washer does not consume any more energy than any other contemporary washer.

- Answer I press the start button while the lid is up and add the detergent while the water runs. You should be able to do this as well.
