• Hold down the green start button for ~3 seconds to unlock the lid during the rinse and spin modes--the only time that the lid is locked.

• Try hitting the Start/Pause button. This has worked for me. Then press again when ready for it to start again.

• May be able to hold down the Cancel button and it may unlock.
