• Yes, this model is a high efficiency washer. Yes, but I do use tide and I have no problems. Yes the drain hose is included but Not the water hoses.

• The drain hose is SUPPOSED to be included, but when the installation guys arrived and looked things over, they said the drain hose hadn't been packed inside my new washer and they couldn't do the installation without it. So in order to get a return installation date quickly, I had to drive to my local Best Buy and buy another drain hose, even though I had already paid for it with my original order. The installation was completed, so now I have to call Best Buy.com to try to get a refund for the undelivered hose.

• I use regular detergent. Never had a problem. Drain house is not included. Extra cost.
